Squirtle | Talk to Squirtle at the beach east of the first town while carrying a Pokeball. |
Farfetch'd | After learning Surf, walk up to the left behind Reimu's tiny shrine in the Dream Forest to reach a new map. Pick up the leek on the upper left and then give it to Farfetch'd. Now talk to Farfetch'd while carrying a Pokeball. |
Porygon | Win 9999 Coins in the Game Corner in the third town. |
Detris | Can be encountered in tall grass on Route 4. Deal damage to Detris until it turns into the square shape and then use a Pokeball. |
Ghost | After winning Plutia's badge, enter Ghost Cave from the fourth town and take the path on the right. Ghost will possess one of your characters after passing the graveyard. Now talk to a PC and choose 'Upload' to add Ghost to your collection. |
Win all three badges and also pick up the 'Silver Ticket' item in the bank in the third town. Surf to the east from the first town all the way to the beach and take the S.S. Aqua there to reach the Pokemon League. Beat the Elite Four and let the scenes play out.
After collecting all Pokemon, interact with a PC and choose 'View' to go to the Collection and talk to Histoire. You can now remove the gates to access the locations of the symbols.
Past | Complete Reimu's quest by talking to Reimu on Route 3, interacting with the shrine on Route 4 and then guiding Reimu there. Enter Reimu's old shrine on Route 3 to go to the Past. Travel through the maps and enter the house on the right to find the Past Symbol. |
Future | Win 6666 Coins at the Game Corner in the third town to get the 'Plum' item. Use it to surf on the lava below the room with the bed on the volcano where Uzume's Gym was. Travel to the left and enter the lab. Go all the way to the end to find the Future Symbol. |
Puzzle | Buy all merchandise from the three Gamers stores in the second, third and fourth town to get the membership cards. Enter the hole in the back wall of Puchiko's Gamers and talk to the creature to make it explode. Now enter the puzzle area and walk to the end to find the Puzzle Symbol. |
Dream | Talk to the mirror in the back room of Madotsuki's house to enter the dream area. Visit the worlds behind all four doors at least once and an exit at the back of the nexus will open. Enter it to find the Dream Symbol. |
Collect all Pokemon, go to the Collection and talk to Histoire there. Now collect the four Legendary Symbols, then talk to Histoire again. If you already beat the Pokemon League, this will instead show the True Ending which has slightly different dialogue.
Complete both the conditions for the Histoire Ending and League Ending in any order. Then go to the Collection and talk to Histoire.
Once IF joins your party, you can use the 'Flip Phone' skill to get more dialogue with some of the characters. Here is how to get all the phone numbers for it.
Patchouli | After completing the quest which uses the 'N64 + Stadium' item, return it to Patchouli. Now talk to her again to trade phone numbers. |

Reimu | Complete Reimu's quest by talking to Reimu on Route 3, interacting with the shrine on Route 4 and then guiding Reimu to the new shrine. Have at least one day pass by sleeping until she has finished setting up her shrine. Enter the shrine and exhaust her dialogue until only a short scene plays. After this, when entering the shrine again, Reimu will sometimes be performing a ritual dance on the stage. Talk to the stage to join the ritual. Now talk to Reimu again to trade phone numbers. |

Alice | After beating Plutia's Gym, talk to Alice to make her go back to her house. Talk to her there and take her letter to Marisa. Report what Marisa said and then talk to her again to trade numbers. |

There are five hiddden OVAs which add additional scenes to the event viewer menu.
Prologue | Can be exchanged for 3333 Coins at the Game Corner. |
Compa's worry | Examine the wall opposite to the first switch in Compa's Gym. This will reveal a hidden switch which unlocks a staircase to a secret room with the item. |
Burning hearts | After learning surfing and getting the 'Plum' item to surf on lava, enter the cave on the top of the volcano. On the left there is a passage which leads to the 'Dual Blade Neptune' weapon and on the right there is another secret passage which leads to the item. |
Cupid Red | Travel the path in Plutia's Gym all the way to the top right. Interact with the end of the path to get the option to jump down. The item can be found in the room below. |
The great debate | In the area in front of the Pokemon League which checks the badges, go to the very top. In the last hallway where you can check who won the third badge, enter the middle wall from the top to find a secret room and pick up the item. |
To get the best grade on the ending screen, collect all Pokemon, trade all phone numbers and find all the pudding items. For Pokemon and phone numbers, see above. The pudding items can be found at the cliffside of the mountain before fighting IF, in a cave that requires surfing on Route 1, and behind a hidden entrance below a grave in the Ghost Cave. If you married Neptune to herself or one of the other two characters in the church, the character will also show up on the ending screen. If you beat the surf course, this will also display on the ending screen.
Talk to Nepgear at Dejiko's Gamers in the second town. In the third town, talk to Uni at the Game Corner and Nepgear at Usada's Gamers. In the fourth town, talk to Rom and Ram after winning Plutia's badge and then again at the Pokemon Center. At the Center, also talk to Uni and at Puchiko's Gamers talk to Nepgear. Have one day pass by sleeping, talk to Nepgear again to get the 'Monmon Radar' item and finally, talk to Uni again. The sisters will now show up at the Pokemon League for additional scenes and watch the fights.
From the section with trainers in the bank in the third town, take the exit to the left and go back around through the hidden passage to the first map to find 'Dejiko's Tail'. Trade 'Dejiko's Tail' with Dejiko for 'Hot Steamy Rice'. Trade 'Hot Steamy Rice' with the Guard in the Pokemon Center in the fourth town for 'Green Tea'. Trade 'Green Tea' with Vert at the League lobby for 'Ether'. Trade 'Ether' with Brock at Puchiko's Gamers for 'Pet Rock'. Trade 'Pet Rock' with Uzume for 'Megaphone'. Trade 'Megaphone' with Officer Jenny at the Game Corner for 'Repel'. Trade 'Repel' with Misty at Usada's Gamers for 'Legendary Rod'. Trade 'Legendary Rod' with Mikke at the beach for the 'Vault Key'. Use the 'Vault Key' to unlock the vault in the Bank storage room and pick up the 'Gold Ticket'.
Beating the Pokemon League and collecting all Pokemon should fill in most of the entries in the Pokedex. To get Dragonite, visit Nisa's city by diving into the whirlpool at the beach and help her fight Dragonite. To get Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon, visit Red's palace by diving into the whirlpool on Route 4 and fight the trainers there. To get all the past entries, get the Past Symbol first and then explore the extended past area. To get Mewtwo, complete the trading sidequest to get the 'Gold Ticket' item and take the S.S. Aqua to the second destination. Sometimes, instead of Mewtwo, you will encounter Mew which should fill in the last entry in the Pokedex.
